Eye and Vision Exams in Milpitas and Cupertino

There's simply no overstating the importance of an annual eye exam. In fact, for some patients, we may even recommend them bi-annually. During an eye and vision exam in our office, our eye doctor will carefully evaluate the health of the eyes through the use of focus and movement tests. Regular eye exams are key to spotting potential signs of ocular disease early on and thus improving the effectiveness of treatment.

And of course, regular eye exams help us make sure you're up-to-date on your prescription.

LASIK Surgery

If you're tired of having to wear corrective lenses due to your less-than-perfect vision, then it may be time to consider LASIK surgery as an option. This method treats refractive conditions such as near-sightedness, far-sightedness, and astigmatism to help improve your vision and possibly even eliminate the need for corrective eyewear.

Here at Golden Vision, we specialize in providing both pre- and post-operative care to LASIK patients. We'll begin with an evaluation to determine whether you're a viable candidate for LASIK. If so, we can refer you to a surgeon and work with your LASIK team to provide you the best post-operative care possible as well.

Contact Lenses

Another option to consider if you're ready to ditch the traditional eyeglasses is that of switching to contact lenses. In fact, many people prefer contact lenses because they're invisible to the naked eye, and many people have a hard time getting used to the way they look in regular glasses.

Contact lenses may also be a practical option for those with active lifestyles, such as athletes. Unlike traditional glasses that could fall during physical activity and become damaged, contacts stay put.

Here at Golden Vision, we can work with you to determine which type of contact lenses are the best fit for your lifestyle, whether it be contacts for daily wear, extended wear, or anything in between. We can even help you master the technique of putting your contact lenses in, taking them out, and generally caring for your contacts.

This is just a sampling of the many services we have to offer here at Golden Vision. We pride ourselves in being your one-stop shop for all your eyecare and eyewear needs. So whether you need a vision exam, are considering LASIK, or are simply interested in getting a new pair of glasses, our optometry team is here to assist you.
